Early Detection X-rays

X-rays that save your teeth:

Digital X-RaysWe know that early detection is the key to saving teeth. So, we have invested in Digital X-rays so that our x-rays are as big as a computer monitor screen. As you can see in the picture, the monitor is 1 x-ray and a 'normal' x-ray is being held up right next to it. We can see decay as soon as it gets started. The old type of x-rays are about 1 inch squared. The dentist is forced to try to distinguish between shades of gray.

The new Digital X-rays can be manipulated like a photo program on your home computer. We can colorize, invert the black and white, magnify, and most importantly use much LESS radiation than conventional film technology!

 

Easy Cosmetic Fix

Over time, teeth chip and can become jagged. An easy, quick tooth fix is called 'enamelplasty'. It's as easy as smoothing and polishing the edges of the teeth. Between whitening and smoothing the edges, you can have a great smile in no time.



Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, gum measurements, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also have digital x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of decay in between of back teeth.

Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance. Click here for more info

Teeth Whitening
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns on the front teeth. For the back, we use porcelain fused to metal.

Old and Unsightly Fillings
Tooth-colored fillings that are light cures to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored filings, more durable material.

Root Canal Therapy
We perform root canals on anterior and premolar teeth.

Scaling and Root Planing
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).

Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.

Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.
