The scariest part of a mouth accident is how much blood there can be. Don't panic! Placing continuous pressure on the injured area will stop the bleeding.
If a tooth is knocked out it is very important to put it back in the socket within 30 minutes. You literally can re-implant the tooth and it will stay if done quickly. Don't scrub the tooth because it needs the tiny fibers on the root to reattach permanently.
